Today I woke up and decided I wasn't going to ride. My back was still bothering me, and my saddle sores weren't getting better, so it was a good day to take advantage of the rest day at Briancon.

Dick was interested in driving the van into Italy (just across the border), so we decided that we would do that around lunch time.

Most of the folks decided to do the ride to Sestriere or just into Italy. Sandy and Kathy also decided to take a rest day, so I had people to hang out with!

The three of us went to explore some of the old forts in Briancon.
